Knitting and Quilting

I realize that it has been almost 2 months since I last posted, and I promise to be better.
I just got back from Knit Night and was inspired to share some knitting photos, so I will try to post some tonight.

Here's what I have been busy with:

A summer shell from Cascade Sierra cotton/wool yarn. The pattern is Soleil from Knitty.
Thanks to Marianne for the Addi Turbo needles, the project will go much quicker now!!

And I have been working on this:
Felted bags!
Because you can never have enough bags, and because felted projects just go so fast!

And this: I finally gave my son the quilt that I have been working on for 4 years! Happy Birthday!

I think there are 300 different fabrics in this quilt!
I think he and his wife like it a lot, and now I just have to put on binding and they can take it home.

Next post--grandbabies!!

Hey.. Love the photos! your cotton sweater really pops against your cool floor!

LOVE the quilt. The 'thousand' triangles show up wonderfully in the picture.

Pictures look great... you obviously get it!

Memorial week is the piping comp. I get to go to the cottage, which now has a hot tub! I can't wait.

I am sure your son and his family will enjoy that quilt for a long time to come. It is beautiful.

Kathy, that quilt is such a beauty! WOW! Lucky son and DIL!

Sooooo, I guess we can expect the cotton sweater to make some real progress now, eh? ;^)
